Sunderland AFC is delighted to announce that Louise Griffiths has signed a new contract with the club.
Having joined the Club in 2017, Griffiths has penned a new professional deal on Wearside until 2026.
The full-back has since made 124 appearances in Red & White in defence, including 24 games in all competitions last season.
Sunderland Women Head Coach Mel Reay said: “I’m delighted Louise has agreed new terms with the club. Her first full-time contract is just rewards for her outstanding improvement season-on-season with us. Louise is integral to the way we now move forward as a team and a crucial member of the squad.”
On signing her new deal, Griffiths said: “I’m very pleased, I’m over the moon to get my first full-time contract playing for the Club. Going through the academy set-up to where I am now at 25, it’s something that I’m proud of.”
