Andrew Cartwright

Andrew joined the Academy at under-15 level from the famous Wallsend Boys' Club.

His father Peter played 65 league games for Newcastle United and also represented Scunthorpe and Darlington.

Andrew is a good team player who covers a lot of ground.

He started a two-year scholarship in summer 2011 and made 16 appearances in 2011-12, scoring once.
