Peter Burke

Peter is a goalkeeper who hails from Donegal in the Republic of Ireland.

He crossed the Irish Sea in summer 2012 to join Sunderland on a two-year scholarship after finishing school.

Peter spent a short time training with the club in 2011-12 having impressed with his performances back home for local side Moville Celtic.

He impressed enough to be handed a contract and will compete with Joel Dixon and Johnny Maddison for the under-18s’ number one spot.
