Sam Brotherton has completed his switch to Blyth Spartans today.
The New Zealand international, who joined Sunderland in January 2017, has joined the Vanarama National League North club on a season-long loan.
Brotherton, 21, has been a regular in Elliott Dickman’s under-23s since joining from the Wisconsin Badgers of the University of Wisconsin last year.
