Sunderland AFC can confirm that Anthony Patterson has joined Notts County on a loan until 26 October 2021.
The goalkeeper, who has made four first-team appearances for the Lads this season, kept a clean sheet on his league debut against AFC Wimbledon last month.
Patterson joins Ian Burchnall’s National League outfit ahead of their trip to Altrincham FC on Saturday.
Sporting Director Kristjaan Speakman said: “Anthony has the potential for further development and in order to optimise that process, we believe that he requires regular exposure to first-team football. This loan move represents a great opportunity for him to acquire more minutes in a senior setting, and we look forward to observing and assessing his progress.”
