U21 Loan Move: Robinson makes Lancaster switch

Sunderland AFC Under-21 midfielder Owen Robinson has joined Lancaster City on a youth loan deal.

The 19-year-old joins the Northern League Premier Division outfit on a 28-day switch, having so far made 12 appearances for the U21 side this season, scoring once.

Robinson, who has also represented AFC Fylde’s first team in the National League North, is eligible to make his Lancaster debut in the team’s home fixture against Marske United this Tuesday night.

He could also come up against Sunderland U21 teammate and fellow Liverpudlian, Connor Pye, this Saturday with Pye on loan at Morpeth Town.

Everyone at SAFC wishes Owen the best of luck during his time at the Giant Axe.
