Sunderland AFC Under-18s return to league action this Friday as Nottingham Forest are the visitors at the Academy of Light (1.00pm KO).
The U18 Premier League fixture was originally scheduled for October but was postponed due to the weather conditions.
Opposition
Nottingham Forest currently sit 9th in the U18 Premier League table having played eight, won two, drawn three and lost three.
Forest is currently just two points ahead of the Black Cats.
The U18s are currently led by Warren Joyce.
Joyce made over 600 appearances as a player at clubs including Bolton, Preston and Hull City before moving into a management.
His coaching career started at Hull and then Royal Antwerp before having spells at Manchester United and Wigan Athletic.
Most recently, Warren was manager at Melbourne City in Australia and then development coach at Salford City.
The Black Cats
Fin Lynch and Jordan Moore's side most recently played in the Premier League Cup against Brighton on Tuesday afternoon. Goals from Jaydon Jones, Ben Creamer and Jack Whittaker ensured the points were shared in a 3-3 draw.
The Lads currently sit 11th in the league table and a win against Forest could see a climb up the division into eighth.
