Pre match chat: Phillips stars in Black Cats Bar

Kevin Phillips rolled back the years and took centre stage at the Stadium of Light on Friday night.

The record-breaking striker, who made 130 appearances for the Black Cats between 1997 and 2003, was a big hit with fans once again during his stint in the Black Cats Bar.

With it being the day after Valentine’s there was still plenty of love in the air, as Phillips met scores of supporters during a special pre-match chat with fellow SAFC legend Micky Horswill, answering dozens of questions that were fired his way.

Fans wanting to experience the Black Cats Bar on a matchday can enjoy a padded-seats, a pre-match hot dish of the day and matchday programme for just £40 and £22.50 for under-12s.

With no dress code, supporters can wear their red and white stripes with pride, enjoy a pint or two and soak up the matchday atmosphere.
