Supporters attending Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship match with Cardiff City at the Stadium of Light are advised that no Metro services will run to the SoL in either direction.
St. Peter’s station will also be out of use, as services between Pelaw and South Hylton will not run all day on Saturday.
This is due to National Rail strike action – Nexus therefore cannot run Metro services on National Rail infrastructure which includes this part of the line.
