New Signing: Browning checks in

Tyias Browning has been reunited with Simon Grayson after he penned a season-long loan deal at the Stadium of Light.

The Everton defender links up with Grayson for the second time in his career after spending the second half of last season at Preston North End together.

Browning, 23, made his Everton debut in a Merseyside derby in September 2014, emerging as a substitute to help play a part in Phil Jagielka’s memorable equaliser.

Since then, the defender has made a further eight appearances for the Toffees before catching the eye of the then North End manager, Grayson, who secured his services in January 2017.

Having represented England at under-17, under-19 and under-21 levels, Browning impressed at Deepdale and made eight appearances as Preston recorded a pleasing 11th place finish in the Sky Bet Championship.

Browning now joins Grayson at the Stadium of Light for the 2017-18 season as he looks to help the club return to the Premier League.
