Following Saturday’s draw at the Bescot Stadium, Sunderland will have another date with Walsall, as the two sides will meet again in a FA Cup second round replay.
Aiden McGeady’s first half opener was cancelled out by Andy Cook in the second period, with nothing separating the teams, for the second successive week.
The FA Cup second round replay will take place on Tuesday 11 December at the Stadium of Light (KO 7.45pm) ticket details will be confirmed in due course.
