Tom Flanagan has spoken about his upbringing as a London lad surrounded by Sunderland fans in his first since joining the club.
The defender put pen to paper on a two-year deal yesterday to become Jack Ross' fourth summer signing along with Alim Ozturk, Jon McLaughlin and Chris Maguire.
And Flanagan, 26, was quick to recall attending Sunderland away matches as a young lad while hearing his friends constantly talk about the red and white army.
