Lee Johnson has given a fitness update on his squad ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet League One trip to Lincoln City.
The Head Coach takes on his third match in charge this weekend, and addressed the media on Friday afternoon regarding players such as Jordan Willis, Lynden Gooch and Denver Hume.
“Jordan Willis and Morgan Feeney are out there in full training, so it won’t be long with them,” Johnson explained.
“Lynden Gooch isn’t ‘ultra-close’, but certainly not far away. Denver is a bit further behind after last week – I would say around three to four weeks minimum.”
Johnson did however insist there are no fresh injury concerns from Tuesday night’s win at Oldham Athletic.
“Luke O’Nien is of course another longer-term absentee, but other than that we have no recent issues.
“We have had young players like Jack Diamond playing well recently, and it’s important to show that pathway for the younger lads in getting that time in the first team.”
