Sunderland AFC today confirmed it’s retained list for the 2020-21 season.
After impressing throughout a two-year spell at the Stadium of Light, Chris Maguire will remain on Wearside for the upcoming campaign after the club took up a one-year option in the forward’s contract.
As previously announced, Jon McLaughlin and Tom Flanagan have both been offered new contracts, while under-23 regulars Brandon Taylor, Jordan Hunter and Benji Kimpioka have also been offered extensions.
20-year-old goalkeeper Anthony Patterson has agreed a new deal.
The club would like to thank those leaving the club at the end of their contracts for their service and wish them well for the future.
