Sunderland AFC can confirm that Will Grigg has joined Rotherham United on loan.
The striker, who moved to Wearside from Wigan Athletic in January 2019, will spend the duration of the 2021-22 season at the New York Stadium.
Grigg scored eight goals in 62 appearances during his time at the Stadium of Light, whilst also spending six months on loan at Milton Keynes Dons.
Sporting Director Kristjaan Speakman said: “Will’s had limited opportunity in and around the team and this is a great opportunity for him at an important time in his career. We wish him well with this next step at a great club with good people.”
