Sunderland AFC can confirm that Will Grigg has joined Milton Keynes Dons on loan until the end of the 2020-21 season.
The 29-year-old striker moved to the Stadium of Light from Wigan Athletic in January 2019, scoring eight goals in 54 appearances during his time on Wearside.
Sporting Director Kristjaan Speakman said: “We’ve had lots of dialogue with Will and his representatives and believe the opportunity for him to play regularly over the second half of the season is the best course of action. We wish him well during his loan spell and very much hope he returns in the summer having had a sustained period of playing and scoring.”
