The dates for Sunderland AFC's fixtures against Lincoln City and Bradford City in the Papa John's Trophy have been confirmed.
The Lads - who will look to retain the trophy as holders from 2020-21 - were drawn to face the two clubs along with Manchester United's Under-21 side in Group F of the Northern section of this season's competition.
Lee Johnson's side are scheduled to visit the LNER Stadium to face Lincoln in the second of three group stage matches on Tuesday 5 October (KO 7pm), and the Stadium of Light will play host to the Black Cats and Bradford on Tuesday 9 November (KO TBC).
Manchester United's youngsters are due to visit Wearside in the group opener during the week commencing Monday 30 August, with a date and kick-off time yet to be formally finalised.
