Starting XI: Doyle debuts, Evans on bench

Lee Johnson has named his starting line-up for this afternoon as Sunderland take on Hearts at Tynecastle Park.

Callum Doyle will make his first appearance in our new red and white Nike home strip having arrived at the club yesterday, with Tom Flanagan, Tyrese Dyce and Carl Winchester making up the rest of the defence.

Anthony Patterson will start in goal for the Lads, with Dan Neil, Elliot Embleton and Aiden McGeady all in the side.

Ross Stewart and Aiden O'Brien will lead the line, with Lynden Gooch wide on the left.

New recruit Corry Evans is amongst the substitutes in Edinburgh, with Alex Pritchard missing out as he completes his self-isolation period with Covid-19.
