Lee Johnson provided an injury update on Denver Hume and Nathan Broadhead in today’s pre-match press conference.
The Lads return to Sky Bet League action on Saturday, taking on Rotherham United at the AESSEAL New York Stadium at 3pm.
And speaking in his pre-Millers press conference, the Head Coach delivered the latest teams news.
“With Denver, we’re just awaiting scan results, but it doesn’t look good for the weekend,” Johnson said.
“Hopefully he won’t be out for too long – it will be disappointing for him, but that’s part of being a footballer and he’ll bounce back.
“There was bumps and bruises after Tuesday’s game – there will be a couple of changes to the team and we have to show tactical agility with this squad.”
He continued: “It’s (Broadhead’s return date) has definitely been pushed back in terms of the original prognosis.
“The reality is, you have to take the player’s symptoms and feelings on board, and he’s been feeling something.
“I do think we’ve turned a corner now, but he won’t be fit for this weekend – hopefully we’ll have him available next weekend.”
