Sunderland AFC can confirm that Jack Diamond has joined Lincoln City on loan.
The 22-year-old moves to Sincil Bank for the remainder of the 2022-23 season to continue his development at Sky Bet League One level.
Diamond already has several successful loan spells under his belt, excelling with Harrogate Town in the National League and Sky Bet League Two.
Scorer of the winning goal at Wembley Stadium when the Sulphurites earned promotion to the Football League for the first time in 2020, the winger returned to Wetherby Road last season and registered 14 goals and seven assists in 39 appearances.
Diamond has made 44 senior appearances for SAFC since progressing through the Club’s academy system, including two during the current campaign.
Kristjaan Speakman said: “Jack did really well in League Two and he has continued to progress with us throughout pre-season, so the natural step for him now is to demonstrate the same levels of performance and consistency in League One.
