Sunderland AFC’s new home kit is now on sale ahead of the 2022-23 Sky Bet Championship season.
Manufactured by Nike, the bespoke home shirt features a throwback take on the Lads’ traditional red and white stripes, with the kit echoing the one worn during the 2000-02 campaigns.
Stripes feature on the front and back of the shirt, which is paired with black shorts and red socks, and proudly displays the branding of the club’s new principal partner, Spreadex Sports.
Priced at £55 for adults and £45 for juniors, the shirt is now available online at www.safcstore.com.
After committing his future to the Club, longest serving player Lynden Gooch was first to try out the Lads’ new threads, which will be worn when they face Rangers on Saturday at the Estadio Municipal de Albufeira (KO 8pm).
The imagery was captured at the highly-anticipated food, drinks and leisure venue, Sheepfolds, which is an exciting new city-centre development led by Sunderland-based architects and engineers Building Design Northern.
Supporters are advised that due to unforeseen delivery delays, children’s sizes will be extremely limited at the launch date.

For the first time in over a decade, a tailored women’s fitted shirt will also be available to supporters. Along with mini kits and socks, the women’s fit shirt is expected to be on sale ahead of the Club’s opening league game of the campaign.
