Alex Neil and Nathan Broadhead have received nominations for April's respective Sky Bet League One Manager and Player of the Month awards.
Neil secured 17 points for Sunderland and another unbeaten month during April including late winning goals against Gillingham, Oxford United and Shrewsbury Town, consolidating a Play-Off place from which the Lads have now reached the final.
He has been nominated for the accolade alongside Wycombe Wanderers' Gareth Ainsworth, Sheffield Wednesday's Darren Moore, and Derek Adams of Morecambe.
Broadhead's five goals in seven league matches throughout the month included last-gasp winners against both Gillingham and Shrewsbury at the Stadium of Light. In the latter of the two games the Welshman netted twice, and also struck against both Morecambe and Cambridge United.
The forward is up for the award against Sheffield Wednesday's Lee Gregory, Will Keane of Wigan Athletic, and MK Dons' Scott Twine.
Congratulations and good luck, Gaffer and Broady!
