Team News: Embleton and Roberts start vs Huddersfield

Tony Mowbray has made two changes for this evening’s Sky Bet Championship tie against Huddersfield Town at the John Smith's Stadium.

Elliot Embleton has been handed a start after scoring the equalising goal against Luton Town in their 1-1 draw at the weekend whilst Patrick Roberts has been restored to the eleven after making a comeback from recent injury.

Jack Clarke serves a one match suspension for picking up his fifth yellow card of the season at Kenilworth Road. Dan Neil drops to the bench for tonight’s game.

Bailey Wright will mark a landmark appearance for the Black Cats tonight as he makes his 100th appearance for the club. The Australian centre-back has been a key part of the squad since his arrival in January 2020.

Alex Pritchard makes a return to one of his former sides this evening where he played for the Terriers between January 2018 and July 2021 before his move to Wearside.

Victory for the Lads this evening could lift them into the top half of the Championship table while the Terriers need a win to lift themselves off the foot of the table.
