Sunderland AFC confirms that Isaac Lihadji has completed a transfer to Al-Duhail SC.
The winger, who moved to Wearside in January 2023, joins the Qatar-based side for an undisclosed fee.
Lihadji made six appearances during his time at the Stadium of Light and all at SAFC wish the 21-year-old the best of luck for the future.
Sporting Director Kristjaan Speakman commented: “We thoroughly enjoyed having Isaac at Sunderland AFC, but we must be pragmatic in these scenarios and assess the opportunity in any transfer proposals that we receive. After considering all the factors, we believe this represents an incredibly positive deal for the Club and it’s a transfer that will also create immediate opportunities for us in the market. Isaac is a great kid, and we wish him well in his new adventure.”
