Anthony Patterson has received a call-up to England Under-21s' provisional squad for their upcoming European Championship campaign.
Patterson could be heading to Georgia and Romania for this summer's tournament with the Young Lions following an outstanding debut campaign in the Sky Bet Championship playing every minute of Sunderland’s season, whilst keeping 14 clean sheets.
The 23-year-old will link up with Lee Carsley’s squad next month ahead of their preparation for this summer's tournament. England U21s face games in Group C against Czech Repbulic on 22 June, Isreal three days later before their final group game against Germany on June 28.
