Sunderland AFC today confirmed the departure of Anthony Hayes.
Hayes joined the Club in February on a short-term contract until the end of the 2023-24 season, undertaking the role of First-Team Coach.
The former Charlton Athletic Assistant Manager departs the Stadium of Light following the expiration of his contract, and joins Sky Bet League Two outfit Gillingham as Assistant Manager.
All at SAFC thank Anthony for his contribution throughout the past four months and wish him well in his new role at Priestfield Stadium.
