Chris Rigg’s European Under-17 Championship campaign continues with England as the Young Lions reached the quarter-final of the competition.
England finished second in Group D after victories over France and Spain. Rigg missed the first group game through suspension but has featured twice in the tournament and wore the captain’s armband during their loss to Portugal.
Greg Lincoln’s side face Italy in the last eight of the tournament tomorrow evening in Cyprus.
