Sunderland Women is delighted to announce the signing of Mollie Rouse on a professional contract.
Rouse joins the Club from 2. Frauen-Bundesliga club FFC Turbine Potsdam.
Starting out in Aston Villa’s Centre for Excellence the midfielder moved to the USA, playing university football for Louisville Cardinals and UCF Knights.
The 24-year-old then moved back to England, playing for Lewes Women and London City Lionesses before opting for a move to Germany with her previous club.
Rouse has also featured for England’s youth sides, playing at Under-17 all the way to U21 level for the Young Lionesses.
Lasses Head Coach Mel Reay said: “I am delighted to bring Mollie to Sunderland. She has vast amounts of Championship and international experience and will add more depth and quality to our midfield. She will go straight into tomorrow’s squad against Crystal Palace.”
