Sunderland AFC season cards are now on sale ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

If my account credit meant I did not need to pay anything or only paid for part of my 2021-22 season card, will I be auto-renewed on the Direct Debit scheme for 2022-23?

If you used your account credit to pay for your 2021-22 season card in part or in full, you will not be automatically renewed for 2022-23 and you will need to take action to renew for the 2022-23 season. 

Please check the personalised renewal notice you will receive from the Club by email or by post or log on to your eticketing account to confirm the status of your renewal.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to auto-renew any season cards where the Direct Debit mandate has been cancelled or has expired and you will need to re-apply for the Direct Debit scheme if you would like to pay for your 2022-23 season card in this way .

Who qualifies for a concession price?

The price of your season card is determined by the age that you will be on 1 August 2022.

For example, if you are 65 or over on 1 August 2022, you will be eligible for an Over-65 season card.

Is early-bird pricing available to non-season card holders?

Early-bird pricing is available for all supporters, including existing season card holders and non-season card holders.

What happens if I do not renew by the early-bird deadline?

If you are a 2021-22 season card holder and you do not renew by 5pm on Thursday 14 April, your seat will be released and become available to purchase when the general sale period commences.

What is included in my season card?

Purchasing a 2022-23 season card entitles you to attend all home league games in your pre-selected seat, subject to stadium capacity. 

Your season card does not include access to away, pre-season, EFL Cup, EFL Trophy, FA Cup or Play-Off fixtures, or guarantee you a seat for these fixtures.

Other benefits include:

  • 10% off at the SAFC Store, Stadium of Light*
  • Complimentary access to SAFC Ladies and Under-23 home league fixtures
  • Exclusive season card discounts on concourse food and beverage
  • Priority access to concert tickets at the Stadium of Light**
  • Discounts on event booking at the Stadium of Light

How do I renew or purchase a season card?

The simplest way to renew or purchase a 2022-23 season card is online at safc.com/tickets and no booking fees will be charged when purchasing online.

Supporters can also secure their seat by emailing ticket.office@safc.com or calling 0371 911 1973, with phonelines open on Monday to Friday from 9am ‘til 5pm.

Fans wishing to renew or purchase in-person can do so by visiting the Stadium of Light Ticket Office during opening hours.

You can also renew or purchase by post. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Sunderland AFC’ and sent with your customer number and address to:

If you wish to make changes to your renewal, please contact the Ticket Office at ticket.office@safc.com before 5pm on Thursday 14 April 2022.

 

Should you cancel your season card, please be advised that once the renewal deadline has passed, you will no longer be eligible for the early-bird pricing.

 

My season card has been auto renewed on Direct Debit, but I want to pay via a different method?

To amend your preferred payment method, please contact the ticket office direct by one of the options above.

I want to renew or purchase online for the first time. What do I need to do?

If you are an existing season card holder who has never purchased online, you must first activate your account using your existing customer number, via the steps below:

1. Click here to go the the online Ticket Office sign in page and click ‘‘Activate Membership Account’.

2. Enter the email address registered to your season card and surname.

3. Click ‘find my account’ and enter a new password before clicking ‘save details’.

If you are a non-season card holder, please click ‘register’ to create an account.

How do I add family members or friends to my network?

You can add family members and friends to your network by following the steps below:

1. Click here and sign-in to your online ticketing account.

2. On your account screen, click ‘my network’.

3. Click ‘search existing’ and add the customer number and surname of your family member or friend.

4. Click ‘select’ to add them to your network.

Can I renew or purchase other season cards for family members or friends?

If you are purchasing a new season card or paying in full for somebody else, you can complete the process on their behalf by following the steps below:

1. Make sure the season card(s) customer numbers are activated and ensure the season card accounts are networked.

2. Log-in to your e-ticketing account and click ‘my account’.

3. Click ‘network’ under the ‘account management’ heading and then select the season card holder that you want to purchase the ticket for.

4. Click 'edit' on the option that states 'I can assign tickets to' and check the 'I can manage tickets for ' option before clicking 'send request'.

5. Finally, log-in to the other account and accept the request, as this will enable you to purchase on your family member or friends’ behalf. 

I’m a 2021-22 season card holder and I want to move seat for the 2022-23 season. What do I need to do?

You can move seat by not renewing your existing seat and purchasing any available seat. If you require further assistance with this process, please contact the Ticket Office via the email ticket.office@safc.com.

What do I need to do if I have lost my season card?

If you have lost your season card, please notify the Ticket Office by emailing ticket.office@safc.com and include your customer number.

What is the Black Cats Points scheme?

All season card holders are automatically enrolled into the Black Cat Points scheme, which enables you to purchase away match tickets in the phases preceeding the general sale.

When you purchase an away match ticket or cup ticket in a priority phase, you will be awarded one Black Cat Point.

Pre-existing Black Cat Points will be carried over if you renew for the 2022-23 season and remain on your account if you move seat.

To view your existing Black Cat Points, please visit your e-ticketing account.

What happens to my Black Cat Points if I move to a new seat?

Black Cat Points are attached to your customer and not your seat so if you choose to move to a different seat your Black Cat Points will remain on your account.

What happens to my Black Cat Points if I don’t renew?

Black Cat Points will remain on file but can only be used to purchase away tickets in conjunction with a valid season card attached to that file.

If part of the 2022-23 season is played behind closed doors, or at a reduced capacity, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, what will happen to my season card?

We have extended our pandemic promise for the 2022-23 season and supporters will be offered a pro-rata refund in the event that Government or EFL regulations lead to any fixtures being played behind closed doors or in front of a reduced capacity.

If I require a Personal Assistant, is proof required?

If you require a Personal Assistant, please provide proof of this by emailing a scanned copy or photograph of your documentation to ticket.office@safc.com.

All previous Personal Assistant season card holders will be sent information via email or post with relevant information on how to renew within two weeks of the season card renewal announcement.
